Natasha - Dolomites, Italy

“My husband and I traveled to the Dolomites on the second week of April, which is a tricky time when the winter season is almost over, but there’s still quite some snow, and the summer season has not started yet. Scott cherry-picked only short and light hiking itineraries for us, exactly as we wanted, and he provided online and offline maps and descriptions of the trails.

I especially liked the descriptions as this allowed me to pick the most scenic hikes – like with waterfalls or an amazing view. So you really know what to expect. We were also not sure which trails were open during this time, so Scott helped to pick only the ones that were open and with no snow. We checked some popular hiking apps too, and I was glad to see that the hikes Scott offered were not listed in the apps, which made it feel very special and local.

Thanks, Scott for this tailored experience!”

Eric - Slovakia

“Having retired in July, I decided I wanted to take a long hiking trip in Europe in September. I reached out to Scott and discussed various options. Ultimately, based on Scott’s input, I decided on a two week trip to the Tatras mountains in Slovakia.

Scott was great to work with and provided tremendous guidance and options on a series of day hikes that were appropriate for my experience and fitness level. He recommended 3 different villages to stay in along with hotel/lodge and dining options at each village. He also recommended other things to do in the area for non-hiking days.

All of Scott’s recommendations were excellent. The hikes thru the mountains were absolutely beautiful. Thanks to Scott, the planning of the trip was simple and I experienced a trip of a lifetime!”

April - Norway

“My husband and I took a trip to Norway through some of the southern towns looking for a little bit of nature. We were in Lillehammer, Loen, and Tyssedal. We went in October, which is off-season for both summer and winter. This means fewer tourists but also fewer available activities.

Scott’s recommendations were exceptionally helpful. We were able to plan our trip to get the most out of the experience. His research is top-notch and the maps were the icing on the cake. I particularly appreciated the plotting of parking spots and grocery stores. The Briksdal glacier hike was a highlight for me. Easy length and not at all crowded due to the season.”
